Having graduated with a prize at University, I ranked in the top 30 nationally amongst over 900 graduates in 2017.
Since graduating, I’ve gained vast experience in general dental practice having worked in Bath, Oxfordshire, Wiltshire and The Cotswolds which has allowed me to learn from very experienced clinicians.
I love my job. I find meeting new people and helping nervous patients overcome their fear of the dentist really rewarding.
As someone with a younger brother with Down’s Syndrome, I also enjoy treating children. Previously I have conducted research with the Down’s Syndrome Association to better understand the needs of children with this condition. In 2021, my colleagues and I had research published in the ‘BDJ in Practice’ in relation to Dentistry and COVID.
In order to provide the highest quality of work, I keep up-to-date by regularly attending courses and lectures taught by the leading names in Dentistry including: Dr Louis Mackenzie from Birmingham Dental School, Dr Shiraz Khan with the IAS Academy and Dr Akit Patel at the Eastman Dental Institute.
I have a particular interest in restorative and aesthetic dentistry – the artform that is making teeth look like teeth.
I am passionate about dental care, both in the UK and abroad having previously spent two weeks in Bangladesh with the charity ‘Refugee Crisis Foundation’ where we provided emergency dental relief for the Rohingya refugee population.
Having been born and brought up in Swindon, I live locally with my husband and my one-eyed cat. My spare time is spent enjoying cooking and travelling as well as meeting loved ones.
