According to Dental Health, three in four adults have had at least one tooth extracted, while two in three have visible plaque.
However, this is just the tip of the iceberg for some people.
Some have lived for years with mass tooth loss and are now missing enough teeth that they struggle to eat, speak, and socialise with confidence.
No matter your personal circumstances, a smile makeover from Marlborough Dental Studio can help to renovate your smile and build up your diminished self-confidence.
Absolutely anyone could be eligible for a smile makeover.

No matter what you need to renovate your smile, Marlborough Dental Studio is here to help you.
Smile makeovers include a wide range of procedures designed specifically to improve the aesthetic appearance of your teeth, as well as keep your teeth strong and healthy.

Every smile makeover produces different results, as they are completed on a patient-by-patient basis.
That said- they all start the same way- with a consultation with our friendly and welcoming dental professionals.
During your initial consultation, our team will take your dental and medical history and examine your teeth.
This is when you can talk through any worries you have about your teeth in general and from an aesthetic perspective.
Here at Marlborough Dental Studio, we practice a huge range of dental treatments, so we are uniquely qualified to provide both general dentistry and cosmetic procedures as part of a smile makeover.
At your consultation- or in a follow-up consultation depending on your needs- your dental professional will advise you of any procedures that you may need, from a hygienic and aesthetic perspective. They will then suggest a treatment plan and timeline for completing these treatments.
According to your individual treatment plan, you will then return to the clinic for your individual general dentistry or cosmetic treatments.
Some treatments may be completed in one session, such as white fillings, scale and polishes, etc. Alternatively, you may need multiple scheduled appointments for more complex procedures, which may include whitening, orthodontics, crowns and veneers, or dental implants.
After your treatment, you will return home and follow any aftercare tips that we have provided. Following these aftercare tips will give you the best chance of success in helping your treatment to be as effective as possible.
Depending on the treatment you received, you may need a post-treatment check-up to ensure that your procedure has worked as expected and that you are recovering as you should.
If your treatment does not require post-treatment check-ups, you will be moved onto the pathway for general check-ups. These may be bi-annual or annual, depending on your dental circumstances, and coming back to the clinic for these is the best way to ensure your dental hygiene stays in tip-top shape.
No matter how much you may want a smile makeover, nerves and concerns may hold you back.
This is very common across the UK, with Dental Phobia reporting that 53% of the UK population report some level of fear or anxiety when visiting the dentist, and 17% avoid the dentist altogether due to dental phobia, to the detriment of their dental health.
Here at Marlborough Dental Studio, we have four ways to combat such concerns, all of which are designed to reduce anxiety. These include:
